Star Windows provides limited warranty coverage for qualifying aluminum and vinyl windows, including single-hung, picture, and horizontal slider units where applicable. Coverage is designed to protect against operating hardware issues and insulated glass seal failure that significantly impairs visibility.
Aluminum windows are covered for single-hung and picture models. Vinyl windows are covered for single-hung, picture, and horizontal slider models. Coverage applies for up to 10 years on operating equipment for qualifying single-hung windows and insulated glass seal failure, excluding glass breakage.
Star Windows provides parts for approved warranty claims. If a covered issue occurs within the first year of manufacturing, skilled labor for the repair is also included. After the first year, labor charges are not covered.
To file a claim, the homeowner should provide the invoice number or the full name of the person or company the windows were ordered under. Star Windows will review the claim and respond in a timely manner under the warranty terms.
